How does a full-continuous type palm oil refinery plant work?

Full-continuous palm oil refinery plant generally uses dry degumming technology and physical refining technology, including degumming, decolorization, deacidification, deodorization and fractionation process. And the full-continuous palm oil refinery plant can be divided into seven sections, as the following picture shows:

The degumming and decolorization process in full-continuous palm oil refinery plant:

In this part, firstly, the crude palm oil should be heated and then sent into phosphoric acid reaction tank to be mixed with phosphoric acid to make the gum become colloidal particle. Next, after mixing the oil and white clay, in the decolorization tower, the colloidal particle and colouring matter will be absorbed by the white clay. At last, the waste white clay will be filtered out by leaf filter, and the bleached oil will be sent into deodorization tower.

The deacidification, deodorization, fractionation process in full-continuous palm oil refinery plant:

Because the temperature of deodorization process is higher, the bleached oil need to be heated ahead. The deodorization tower is divided into two parts: the upper part is used to deacidify, and the nether part is to deodorize. They are both using the high-temperature steam to take the free fatty acid and bad smells away. As the picture shows:

At last, it is the fractionation process of palm oil. It contains three steps: heating, cooling and crystallization, filtration. After that, two kinds of products can be got: palm olein and palm stearin.
