Chemical refining process of edible oil

1. Degumming:

Adding hot water to wash the gums away, by settlement, finally we can remove the gums.

2. Deacidification:

Using alkali liquor to neutralize with the FFA in the crude oil, then it will generate the soapstock, after settlement for a while, you can remove them.

3. Decolorization / Bleaching:

Using white clay or bleaching earth to absorb the color away, then we will recycle the oil in the waste clay. Our engineer can tell you how much white clay to be added according to your oil color parameters and the final oil you want to get.

4. Deodorization:

Sometimes the crude oil's smell not good, so we can use the steam to take smell away.
