Generally if the capacity is 50-2000TPD, the cooking oil refining plant is designed full continuous type. So 600 TPD cooking oil refining plant is full continuous type, which uses physical-chemical way. The whole way is continuous and the oil consumption is less. The 600TPD full continuous cooking oil refining plant can be used to refine different crude cooking oil and to get different standard cooking oil.

The specifications of 600TPD full continuous cooking oil refining plant:
De-gumming and neutralization section:
Crude oil is pumped to neutraliser from oil mill or storage tank and first it is treated with weak solution of phosphoric acid or other suitable de-gumming agent for removing gums. Thereafter oil is further treated with measured quantity of alkali (NaoH) depending upon free fatty acid (F.F.A.) in crude oil. In this process soap will be separated. Next process is hot water wash to the oil to remove traces of soap particle and free alkali. The oil obtained will be light in color, free from soap stock and called as washed neutralized oil.
Bleaching section:
In this process excess color from the oil is removed. Neutralized washed oil is pumped into the bleacher vessel. Operating under vacuum, oil is first heated to remove excess moisture and thereafter it will be treated with predetermined quantity of bleaching earth and activated carbon. Thereafter the oil will pass through a filter media (pressure leaf/filter press) to separate spent bleach earth and bleached oil. Oil will pass obtained after bleaching process is light in color and appearance of oil will be clear golden in color.
Deodorizing and deacidification section:

This process removes odor from the oil to improve the quality and self-life of oil. Bleached oil is charged to deodorizer directly or through heat exchanger and is heated at high temperature and also under high vacuum in deodorizer vessel to obtain odorless clear oil. Once the process cycle is complete the oil obtained will be odorless and light in color. Besides, the deodorization tower can both keep good smell of the cooking oil and remove the free fatty acid. At the same time, this tower can save the direct steam. The consumption of steam is only 30-50% of the normal tower. After cooling it will pass through polishing filter to obtained sparkling light color and odorless oil for packing, which will be used as edible oil.
De-waxing section:
Some kinds of oil like sunflower, maize germ or corn oil have high content waxes inside, if these impurities are not removed, the oil will freeze easily under low temperature, thus effecting oil quality and appearance. so this process is necessary in extremely cold areas.
