How to distinguish crude oil and refined oil ? As manufacturer of oil extraction plant, here we will introduce you the differences between crude oil and refined oil in details.
1. Color. In oil refinery plant, pigments in crude oil is removed completely. In another word, refined oil is clear and transparent in color while crude oil is feculent.
2. Smell. In oil refinery plant, deodorization process removes unplesant smell in crude oil. Thus refined oil has slight oily-smell while crude oil has pleanty of smelly substance.
3. Price. In general, oil refinery plant also needs a sizable investment and production cost, which would rise oil price somehow. In another word, refined oil is generally more expensive than crude oil.
Crude oil is harmful to human body, and we'd better not use crude oil as edible oil directly.
